The best book on the challenges which were faced by the prophets and the character traits they employed face those challenges is Quran and the Hadeeths from the Prophet (SAWA) and Ahlul Bayt (AS). Try to carefully read Quran and authentic Hadeeths in Al-Kaafi, Al-Istibsar, al-Faqeeh and Al-Tahtheeb.

Teeth . Prophets . Dates

I am unable to eat dates because they cause me severe tooth pain and get stuck in my teeth. Am I committing a sin by avoiding them, or should I prioritize my health? I know dates are special and favored by the Prophet. What should I do?

There is no sin at all in not eating dates whether you have medical reason or not as earring dates is just recommended but not obligatory on every Muslim. You should look after your health and treat your teeth and avoid anything which can harm your health. Hopefully you will be able to eat dates after your teeth are perfect iA. Still, it is not obligatory to eat any item of food especially when it can harm your health.

After transcribing this narration (in which the Prophet praises certain historical personalities as brethren of the ancient prophets) on volume 19, pp. 271-272 of Bihar al-Anwar, 'Allamah al-Majlisi expresses a very dim view of its authenticity and describes it as having "signs of fabrication". Apparently, he included it to discuss it, not to preach that it is correct.

If one's goal is to determine Shi'i belief, one can note that this narration arises through Sunni narrators, including some who were identified as fabricators of hadith, and so it is not the correct sort of narration to look at to determine what Shi'is believe.

Insofar as this is a very specific question, one assumes that it was mentioned on some sort of polemical website (like a website aiming to prove Shi'ism is wrong), and one wonders what the point is. Was the author of that material aiming to prove Shi'ism is wrong because 'Allamah al-Majlisi included a narration saying that the Prophet praised this or that person? Obviously, the view espoused in this narration is not a normal Shi'i belief, and there are ample parts of Bihar al-Anwar to demonstrate that. So it seems that whatever might have been calling attention this is taking it out of context, and this is disingenous.

Can you please provide authentic Hadiths from Sunni sources and Quranic evidence regarding the superiority of our Masoomeen (AS) over Prophets?

1. The fact that all Muslims agree on is the superiority of Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) over all the previous prophets and he is the best of all the creatures of Allah.

2. Sura 3, verse 61 stated that Ali is Nafs means exactly like the Prophet (With out prophet hood obviously) which means that as the Prophet Muhammad is greater that all previous prophet, Ali who has the highest degree like him is having the she status over others.

3. In Quran , Sue 3, verse 34 Allah mentioned the progeny of the prophets that they are from the prophet and the Prophet. is from them ذرية بعضها من بعض.

Is it allowed to have a tattoo of the infallibles, specifically if the image does not depict any facial features but it is clear, for instance, that it represents Imam Ali (as)?

It is better as a precaution to avoid having such tattoo.

None of the wives of the Prophet (SAWA) had the degree of Nafs of the Prophet. The Prophet (SAWA) did not invite any his wives in Mubahala, but he invited his daughter Fatimah. Nafs of the Prophet (SAWA) was no one but Imam Ali (AS). According to a narration, Imam Al-Ridha (AS) was been asked by Al-Ma’moon Al-Abbasi; what is the greatest tribute of Ali in Quran? He replied : Al-Mubahala in Allah said ( Wa Anfosana wa Anfosakum).

Is it possible to encounter any Prophets in the realm of Barzakh and which specific Prophet will we encounter?

Barzakh is the world which starts from our death till the day of resurrection. Every one who dies whether bekiver or non believer, will encounter the Prophet (SAWA) and Ahlul Bayt,(AS) . Believers will get glad tidings and prayers while non believers will face the results of their wrong deeds. Encountering other prophets is possible as well for the beliefs.

What Quranic or Hadith evidence is available to support the belief that Imam Ali (as) is superior to all prophets, with the exception of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)?

Quran states in Sura 3, verse 61 that Ali (AS) is like the self of the Prophet وأنفسنا وأنفسكم. Say: (O Muhammad): Come, let us call our sons and your sins, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves, then we pray and invoke the curse of Allah upon the liars. The Prophet brought Ali as himself. This means that Ali's status is the greatest after the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA).
The Prophet (SAWA) said to Ali (AS): O Ali, you are from me and I am from you.
