You as a sister, have to power nor authority on your brother's life. The best you can do is advising him in a nice way which can be accepted by him. As far as your parents decisions, you should keep full respect for them and if you have a suggestion, you should be very polite in presenting your suggestions to your parents. If you feel that their decisions regarding your brother's life are not correct, you try to explain your opinion to them in a very polite way and you can request respected other family members to talk to your parents in a nice way.

Islam does not allow anything which makes the child away from his parents. Cutting ties with any of the relatives is a sinful act, what about with the parents??

Even if the mother is divorced from the father, the rights of both of them on the child remain intact and both of them must maintain continuous contact between themselves child and his both parents. Father remains responsible to spend on his children till they are able to earn their livelihood.

It is not in the teachings of Quran, the Prophet (SAWA)  and Ahlul Bayt (AS) to mirror bad behavior. We are been advised to do good always even when are been wronged.

'The best way to make your in-laws treat you in a better way is to do more good and avoid doubting their intentions. Tolerate and be patient and try to avoid bed thoughts, your life will be better. The Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) ordered his followers to do good even to those who did wrong to you وأحسِن إلى مَن أساء إلَيك

Every Muslim who believes in Allah (SWT) will clearly understand from Quran the great importance of praying Salah. Allah (SWT) Says in Sura Al-Room: Estabkish Salah and don't be from the polytheists (Mushrikeen) (Verse 31). Those who don't perform Salah are like the Mushrikeen. The Prophetic Hadeeth says: The difference between us (Muslims) and non Muslims is Salah, anyone who leaves Salah becomes like them.

Salah is the main link between human being and his Creator Allah which must be performed as Allah (SWT) Has ordered as an obligatory worship to remember Allah (SWT) as He Said in Quran (And establish Salah to remember Me) (Sura Taha, verse 14). Those who ignore Salah are ignoring Allah's order and disrespecting Him like telling Him: We have no time to talk to you !!!

Salah is like the Oxygen for our hearts and souls and minds and we can never live a peaceful life with out Salah which is the compulsory link between us and our Clreator Allah (SWT).

There are many Quranic verse and hundreds of Hadeeths about Salah which can help guiding Muslims to the crucial importance of Salah.

Despite the fact that bad deeds of parent can leave bad impacts on their children, but it is not the only real reason always. There are very pious parents like prophet Noah as a Quranic example who had a disobedient son despite all his kindness, wisdom and nice manners. Some times grown up children fall under influence of their evil desires and Satan and bad company and they don't follow their pious parents.

Parents should treat their grown up children in a friendly way and avoid enforcing attitude  which might create a bad reaction from the children against their parents.

Parents need to always try to protect their children from bad friends as much as possible.

Parents need to always pray for their children to be saved from Satan and Satanic people.

There are many supplications in Quran and Hadeeth in this matter.

There are two opinions among the scholars in this matter. One opinion says: Yes, Mut’ah marriages will be allowed in Paradise because of the Quranic verse about Paradise: And It will have everything which is desired by anyone). (Sura 43, verse 71).

This opinion also says that woman who wants more than one husband will be allowed to have in Paradise more than one husband.

The other opinion says that the desires in Paradise will be different from the desires in this worldly life as the believers in Paradise will see the Truth which did not see in worldly life. All the desires in Paradise will be pure and noble, so no one in Paradise will desire something which is not noble. No believing woman in Paradise will desire more than one husband.

These are the two opinions and we leave the real answer to Allah (SWT) as we have not yet seen the Paradise and we pray to Allah (SWT) to Grant us the Paradise, then we will know the reality which we don't know in this world.

Success in this life was always the aim of all human beings before us and is the aim of all people who are living and will remain the aim of all human beings to come. Achieving this most important aim can never be possible away from The Creator of life and universe Who Created everything and Guided to the way of success. Allah (SWT) Stated in Quran : He who does good with right faith will be granted a nice life  and will be granted best reward for their good deeds.(Sura An-Nahl, verse 97).

Being with Allah in every matter and every act is the only way for success in this life and hereafter.

It depends what you mean by 'credible sources'.

From a scientific perspective, this is a scientific question, and can be approached through scientific sources. (What one considers 'credible' about extraterrestrial life may vary from person to person.)

From the perspective of the study of the Qur'an and hadith, some ayat of the Qur'an have been interpreted (past and present) to suggest that there is extraterrestrial life. Some hadith also speak of life on other "earths". In particular, there are a number of Shi'i hadith on this theme, which one can find in sources like Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 55. One can also interpret the Qur'an and hadith to speak of life before/after this universe.

The following works in English may be useful:

* Islamic Theology and Extraterrestrial Life (book)
*Shīʿī Imāmī Thought on Existence, Life, and Extraterrestrials (article)
* A Broader Perspective on “Humans”: Analysis of Insān in Twelver Shīʿī Philosophy and Implications for Astrotheology (article)
