If the income of the company is a mixture between lawful and unlawful, then we must avoid investing in such company. Receiving interest from non Muslim banks is not considered unlawful according to many Muslim scholars.

Is it permissible to conduct a secret Nikkah with someone and later have a public Nikkah, instead of engaging in a Haram relationship?

It is mustahab to conduct nikah publicly, with witnesses attending. Marriage should not be concealed and secret. If, for some reason, you want to do this, you must make sure you meet all the requirements, especially in that the bride needs consent from her father, if she has never been married.

If you both meet the conditions, you can do a temporary contract, to avoid haram, and keep that secret, and then have a public Nikah. Of course, if you do that, prior to the public nikah, you must nullify the temporary contract.

How can someone manage intense sexual urges while fearing Haram actions, especially when they feel unprepared for marriage and do not wish to pursue temporary marriage as an option? What are appropriate ways to cope with these feelings?

If one feels they are "unprepared" for marriage, then should work on preparing themselves, and make that their fundamental priority. Nothing is better than getting married.

Pursuing temporary marriage is not going result in long-term solution, so it is good they do not wish to pursue it.

Sexual lust is natural, given to us by Allah ta'ala for many benefits. We just need to regulate it, and control it when needed. We are all prone to becoming weak in our self-control, and Shaytan could overcome us. However, with jihad al-nafs, and resisting haram urges, one will see wonders.

Strong focus on acts of worship is one effective method of coping with lust, especially prayer and connecting with the Lord.

Avoid anything that leads to rising of lust, like what you see, or hear. Try to fast, as the Prophet (s.a.w.) advised.

Occupy yourself with various activities. Try not to be alone, and interact with family members more.

The element of dua is also very important. Immerse yourself in supplications, beseeching Allah and imploring Him to keep you pure, and grant you a righteous spouse.

In Western countries, companies serve both oppressors and others. What is the ruling on the income generated from these companies? Can it be considered Halal by paying Khums, given that not all customers are oppressors?

Companies with mixed income (Lawful and unlawful income) should not be involved in killing or supporting killers of innocents or dealing with alcohol, pork, gambling etc. Working in such mixed income companies then is considered lawful.

When a sin persists despite your efforts to overcome it, is self-flagellation or punishing oneself for the sin permissible as a last resort, such as touching fire as a reminder of hellfire?

Touching the fire is not permissible because it can cause serious harm, but there are other ways like preventing yourself from certain foods which you like or fasting. This can teach us to avoid sinning as much as we can,

Haraam money is not permissible to deal with or even to touch. Haraam money should be given back to its real owner and if unknown then to be given to the Marje; of Taqleed to distribute it among poor believers.

Haram . Mut'a (Temporary marriage)

Is it considered allowed to use online platforms to find a partner for Mut'a? Are there any factors to keep in mind?

Mut'ah marriage is an Islamic marriage which have many common things with the permanent marriage (Nikah) and few differences. Mut'ah marriage has certain conditions which be followed e.g, it is not allowed to do Mut'ah marriage with a woman who is currently married. It is also not allowed to do Mut'ah marriage with a woman who was married to another man and she is still in her waiting period Iddah.

Mut'ah marriage is not allowed with non Muslim woman except People of Book after permission from you Muslim wife according to many Maraaji'.

What steps should I take to remove money that I have acquired, knowingly or unknowingly, that I later discovered to be Haram, in order to ensure my remaining earnings are Halal?

Haraam (unlawful) money must be given back to its real owners, and if you don't know them or their families, then it must be given to the Marje' of Taqleed as Majhool al-Malik (unknown owner) so that he distributes it among poor believers.

If you don't know the exact amount of the unlawful money mixed with your money, you must pay an amount which makes you sure that unlawful money has been removed away from your money. That amount should be given to the Marje' of Taqleed as well so that he distributes it among poor believers.

You are not allowed to give unlawful money to charity because it does not belong to you. Allah Says in Quran ( And never deal with the unlawful by spending from it in charity, because you don't own it). (Sura al-Baqara m verse 267).

What criteria can be used to assess whether a specific cryptocurrency is allowed based on Shia teachings? I have heard some cryptocurrencies involve prohibited activities, so how can I identify if trading a specific cryptocurrency is permissible or not?

Our great Maraaje' of Taqleed have different opinions on cryptocurrency as some of them allow dealing with it, and some don't allow while few of them don't have any verdict yet.

Those scholars who allow dealing with cryptocurrency include Ayatullah Sayyed Moosa Shubairi Zanjani, do not differentiate between cryptocurrencies as far as dealing with it does not contradict or break the law of your country and it should not harm others.

Should I end my Haram relationship abruptly due to religious differences or should I wait for an appropriate time to do so after discussing it with my partner?

Haraam (unlawful) relationship must be ended immediately because it is Haraam. Whether there are religious differences or not, every Haraam is sinful act and must be stopped with out any delay. Discussing religious differences can be later but no way we can continue any Haraam relationship.
